This Con feels like a bunch of old friends by now. I was incredibly honored to be selected as the 2008 Darrell Award winner for my short story, "The Monster".
This was the first year for OmegaCon, and they had some definite first year 'issues'. The staff and volunteers overcame by sheer willpower and the end experience was a happy one for most. I know I enjoyed myself!
This Con was a little bit farther than we typically like to drive, but when I saw it was billed as the "ReaderCon of the Midwest" I had to check it out. It was a small con, but it had the biggest heart!
